Rachael has been teaching creative writing since 2013 in association with a wide range of organisations, including The Crescent Arts Centre, Sentry Hill Historic House, WheelWorks, Harmony Community Trust, and Women Aloud NI. She is also available for 1:1 mentorship and tuition by request.

Writing Fiction - 10 week online courseMonday 11 January to Monday 22 March 2021 6pm-8pm GMT (half-term Monday 15 February)
£85.21 - book here This course is a structured introduction to the art of writing fiction. No experience is required and the class is suitable for beginners, though writers of all levels of experience are welcome. Learn about narrative, plotting, character, description and more, and build your writing portfolio throughout the week with a series of exercises designed to get your stories out of your head and onto the page. Whether you’re just starting out on your writing journey or looking for a few tips to put you back on track, this class will provide a creative, supportive environment to guide you in your literary work. PLEASE NOTE that for this term the class will be led by Robert JE Simpson instead of Rachael Kelly. Classes run online via Zoom for 10 sessions beginning Monday 11 January and ending Monday 22 March 2021. No class Monday 15 February. The class begins at 6pm GMT each week and finishes at 8pm GMT.
