![]() The CS Lewis Festival celebrates the life and work of one of Northern Ireland's most famous sons. In honour of the occasion, the Literary Lunchtimes team put on a special science fiction/fantasy session and invited local authors RB Kelly and AGR Moore to read their work. Rachael read her Bridport-shortlisted short story Blumelena to the crowd at the historic Ulster Hall. Talking about Lewis' inspirational legacy, Rachael noted that her birthday falls the day after the anniversary of the Narnia author's death, and the same day as Dr Who's 50th anniversary, and joked that a career in science fiction may have been inevitable for her. Blumelena was shortlisted for the prestigious Bridport Prize
