How to use the database
If you're having a general look, you can scroll through the list above without searching.
If you're looking for a particular market, though, you can search by type or genre. You can also filter for current submission windows by opening or closing date (markets without submission windows are automatically given an opening date of 1 January 2000 and a closing date of 31 December 2099).

A note on payment
While every effort has been taken to ensure that all of these opportunities offer payment to authors for the use of their work, some of the publishers don't have payment details on their web pages. This isn't unusual, per se, and (unlike with short story markets) doesn't generally indicate that there's no remuneration for authors. Rates vary wildly, though, and advances may well be low, or non-existent with all income derived from royalties. Again, this isn't unusual, but you should always do your due diligence to make sure you're not being asked to give away your work for free.
